On July 1, 2008, DJ PRO AUDIO, Inc. has assigned all rights and obligations for it's Installation, Rentals, and Sales divisions as well as it's online web sites (1200s.com, and djproaudio.com) to Terminal Music Group, Inc., with its principal business offices located 2417 Jericho Tpke., Suite #256, New Hyde Park, NY 11040.
TERMINAL MUSIC GROUP brings it's expertise to the mail order business with over 15 years in the Consumer Electronics, Pro Audio, and Musical Instrument market. New features will be implemented into both web sites, such as improved tracking capabilities, same day shipping, customer service improvements, and expedited order processing.
SERVICE & REPAIRS
The service department was not part of the purchase, and subsequently, the original owners of DJ PRO AUDIO have ventured off on their own to manage and grow the Repair & Service department (aka DAT - Digital Analog Therapy). A new name will be used, as DJ PRO AUDIO is now the intellectual property of TERMINAL MUSIC GROUP. SERVER UPDATE... We're Back! (Spoke To Soon!)
So, the servers went down again. They put us on a back up generator to get our sites back up, but it was apparently too much power and the breakers kept tripping. So, we will be moving all of our servers over to a new data center over the next few hours (5-18 hours to be precise). This will take ALL OF OUR RESOURCES, so we will be closing up for the rest of the day to expedite this move.

SERVER DOWN - The Saga Continues...
So, it's Monday morning, and our servers are still down. We didn't anticipate to take this long to restore, and now we're starting to get a little nervous. If you happened upon this page, we've redirected our NAMESERVER's to point to our blog, which is hosted on Blogspot.com - We'll keep you updated as we receive information from the data center.

DATA:
Thankfully, all of our data is backed up daily, so we have the option of moving everything over to a new server/hosting company. However, because we run multiple MySQL databases, everything is tied into them, including our shipping and order processing functions. As I stated, we do have the option of moving everything over, but it will take some time to configure our shopping cart system, databases, layout, and functions of the site. So, we'll just stick it out in the meantime, and still prep for the possibility of securing new servers with a new data center in order to conduct business as usual.

SERVER DOWN - Update 06/02 - 5:40pm...

Power in H1 Phase 1 (first floor) has been restored. We are starting to turn customer servers on in batches. We should have the remaining servers powered back up within the next 8 hours.

Apparently our servers were on the First Floor, which was also the hardest hit. Fortunately, our servers weren't damaged. So, it's just a matter of time before we are back up.

SERVER DOWN - Update 06/02 - 6:15am (EST)
The latest from the data center:

First, I would like to extend my sincere thanks for your patience during the past 28 hours. We are acutely aware that uptime is critical to your business, and you have our commitment that we will continue to work around the clock to restore your service.
There is some good news and some bad.
The good news is we have found a way to get power to Phase 2 (upstairs, second floor) of the data center and to restore network connectivity. We will be powering up the air conditioning system and other necessary equipment within the next few hours. Once these systems are tested, we will begin bringing the 6,000 servers online. It will take four to five hours to get them all running. Some of our affected servers are on this floor.
On Phase 1 (first floor) of the data center and the affected 3,000 servers. The news is not as good, and we were not as lucky. The damage there was far more extensive, and we have a bigger challenge that will require a two-step process. For the first step, we have designed a temporary method that we believe will bring power back to those servers sometime tomorrow evening, but the solution will be temporary. We will use a generator to supply power through next weekend when the necessary gear will be delivered to permanently restore normal utility power and our battery backup system. During the upcoming week, we will be working with those customers to resolve issues. A few of our servers are affected on this floor.
We recognize that this is not all good news. We can only assure you we will continue to utilize every means possible to fully restore service.

"We continue to pursue our plans to provide initial power to our H1 data center this evening. It will take several hours to assure power can be safely restored to the facility. Based on how the initial work goes, we will have more information to provide you in the upcoming hours. We will post another update by 7:30 pm tonight."

SERVER still DOWN...
The latest from the data center - Received 06/01 04:32am:
We apologize for the inconvenience, however, this situation was somewhat out of our control for some time. Here is our latest update:
This evening at 4:55pm CDT in our H1 data center, electrical gear shorted, creating an explosion and fire that knocked down three walls surrounding our electrical equipment room. Thankfully, no one was injured. In addition, no customer servers were damaged or lost.
We have been allowed into the building to physically inspect the damage. Early indications are that the short was in a high-volume wire conduit. We were not allowed to activate our backup generator plan based on instructions from the fire department.
This is a significant outage, impacting approximately 9,000 servers and 7,500 customers. All members of our support team are in, and all vendors who supply us with data center equipment are on site. Our initial assessment, although early, points to being able to have some service restored by mid-afternoon on Sunday. Rest assured we are working around the clock to get the servers back up and running.

SERVER DOWN...
Our servers have been down for most of the day (May 31, 2008) - and we apologize for this. We were told that there was an issue at the datacenter, but apparently it was a lot more serious than originally anticipated. Here is the email we received from our datacenter where our server is housed:
"Today at approximately 5:45 p.m. CST, a transformer in our H1 data center in Houston caught fire, thus requiring us to take down all generators as instructed by the fire department. This is affecting a wide number of our servers.
We are working with the fire department, with our facilities staff on site, to assess the situation. At this time we have determined that none of our servers or network equipment was damaged, but the fire department will still not let us power our emergency power equipment up until the transformer is completely repaired.
We are working diligently with them and the power company to get this issue resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience."

We are not sure when service will be restored, but rest assured we have all of our server information backed up, and if we have to, we'll move our sites over to a different server in order to continue functionality of our online businesses.
