FINALLY SOME GOOD NEWS!

So, we finally received word from Technics that they just received a rather large shipment of parts. YA! So, they should be shipping out to us within the next few days, and we'll be able to get back to business. Man, didn't realize how dependent we were on this. Hmm, maybe it's time to diversify.

In any event, if you were waiting on a back order item, chances are your order will be filled this week, or at the very latest, early next week. If you ordered a refurbished 1200, the parts for those also arrived, so we'll be keeping busy finalizing the rebuilding and testing of each unit, and can FINALLY get them out the door.

My sincerest apologies for these delays.

Also, our VOIP phone system is back up, and we figured out the issue with the voice mail, so it will be easier to reach someone @ the shop now. I am still going through all the voice mails, and calling people back as quickly as possible. I am calling people back based on importance. Not that you are all not important, but if someone has been waiting for a back order status longer than you have, I hope that you understand, I will need to call them back first.

And lastly, I also figured out our online support system as well, so responses will also be coming that way as well.

Hey, we are not a very big company. There are only 4 of us running things here, and we all multi-task. I know it's easy to say, just hire more people, but it's not that simple. Especially in this business. We need qualified, trusting, and reliable people, and for whatever reason, good help is just getting harder and harder to find.

Although we did manage to rustle up 2 new guys, 1 is going to Sales, and the other is going to Service. So, that should alleviate the phone issue a great deal for us.

Once again, I want to personally thank everyone for their patience through all of this. Times are tough, and sales are even tougher, but with the fantastic customer's we get, it's all worth it. We've been around for over 10 years, and we aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

PHONE LINE ISSUES

Our new VOIP PBX system is giving us a lot of issues, and we are still trying to determine what is causing the problem. Covad has already been called in and it seems like its some sort of IP issue.

In the meantime, if the following numbers are not working correctly - 1.877.357.7677 or 1.347.410.7802 - try our old analog line (which is still functional): 1.866.668.1596 (although, we are a little overwhelmed here, so if you get voice mail, please leave a message and we'll get back to as quickly as we can.) BACK ORDER PARTS - Technics

We were recently notified by Technics that there is a back order delay on the following items:

- DUST COVERS - all models
- HINGE SETS
- ARM RESTS (#77)
- PITCH CONTROL - MK2 (VR303)

This is becoming more and more common. Not sure if they can't keep up with our demands, or if they aren't making as much as they use to. On average we go through about 20 Dust Covers a week, and this is down from 2 years ago, and they kept up fine before. So, not sure what's going on over there!

If you are about to place an order, please be advised that we don't expect these parts to arrive for another 2-4 weeks. If you've already placed an order, we do apologize for the delay. However, this is beyond our control.

I don't know what's going on over there exactly, but read my post a couple weeks ago about the discontinuation of some important electrical components. So you can get some insight in to what we believe is going on.
