He enjoys to recreating sets from back in the day at the Roxy and is always eclectic with his selections. We are honored to have DJ Jazzy Joyce (myspace.com/djjazzyjoyce)representing the Bronx appearing for the first time on the Crotona Park stage. Not only is she a famous radio host but she even had the chops to battle DJ Cash Money! DJ Scratch (www.DJScratch.com), straight outta Brooklyn, is the legendary DJ for EPMD and holds the 1988 New Music Seminar Championship title. Line up subject to change.

Free. All Ages! 6-9pm. Straight outta the Boogie Down, Lord Finesse (myspace.com/lordfinesse) of DITC (Diggin' in the Crates) is another legendary emcee who began as a DJ. He even battled Roc Raida! This producer/emcee/dj extraordinaire will kick off the jam. GrandMaster Caz (myspace.com/grandmastercaz) G.O.A.T. (greatest of all time) and official host for the 2008 Crotona Park Jams started out as a DJ, even battling back in the day. He is widely recognized as one of the top 10 emcees of all time influencing KRS One, Busta Rhymes and many more. Mix Master Ice (myspace.com/mixmastericemusic) legendary "Leader of the Pack" from of U.T.F.O. is going to close out the night! Line up subject to change.

Kool DJ Red Alert (kooldjredalert.com), legendary radio host, down with BDP, is purely magical on the turntables, controlling the mood and the crowd through timing, selection and bpms! DJ Steve Dee (myspace.com/dj_steve_dee), from Harlem, is the 1990 New Music Seminar Champion. He invented what's known to the world as "beat juggling" and is the first DJ to appear on a Michael Jackson album. He's DJ'd for everyone from The 2 Live Crew to the Get Fresh Crew! DJ Rockin' Rob (myspace.com/dj_rockinrob) of the Mean Machine is the Bronx's best kept secret. What if you could go back in time to the 1970's and see exactly how DJs cut it up back then, what songs they favored? Rockin' Rob is a walking time machine. Plus he'll even scratch on rare Funk 45's! He was a member of the Fantastic 5ive, the L Brothers and most importantly, he invented one of Hip Hop's most signature sounds: the Scratch! Also from the BX, legendary DJ and producer, Jazzy Jay (myspace.com/jazzyjayproductions) will spin his funkiest set and as a special treat, has invited special guest, T LA Rock (myspace.com/tlarock1) on to perform "It's Yours"! DJ Cash Money (myspace.com/djcashmoney12), 1988 DMC World Champion, fresh out of Philly, has fallen in love with the Crotona Park Jams. For the FIRST time in over 10 years, 1200s.com has implemented a price increase on a portion of it's products, particularly parts. This is the state of the economy, with manufacturer's across the board increasing their prices from as little as 2% to as high as 30% - The increase in transportation costs, newly implemented tax tariffs on international shipments, and assorted political factors, have forced us to increase our prices from 2%-5% on the majority of our parts, and a portion of our DJ & Pro Audio Equipment.

We've held off as long as possible to implement these price increases, but we cannot fight the forces of the economy any further. These increases are happening every where. Many manufacturer's have already increased their prices, and others plan to increase prices within the next 30 days or less.

SHIPPING & FREIGHT:
In addition, UPS, USPS, FEDEX, and DHL have ALL announced increase rates effective immediately, in addition to implementing Fuel surcharges.

WHAT GIVES?
Ok, so now I am going to get POLITICAL. So STOP here if you don't care. If you do care... then read on...

It's the state of our economy, and the irresponsible way in which our Government manages it's finances and asks the Federal Reserve (The FED) to print money as if there were no tomorrow when needed! Where do you think President Bush gets his $3 Billion dollars to finance the Iraqi war. He asks for $3 Billion, Congress approves it, and the Fed prints it. All at a considerable interest rate to the American Citizen. The market is then flooded with more American Dollars, bringing down it's value... This is called INFLATION. Our salaries remain the same, but our buying power is decreased. Essentially, the American Dollar is backed by nothing. It's just paper. Our gold has been depleted. Our assets are in the hands of the Federal Reserve, and used as collateral every time we print money! Leaving nothing left for the American People if and when the economy collapses. Of course there are other factors at play, but this is the ROOT of all the other issues (Oil, Wars, Energy, Interest Rates, Tariffs, etc)
